It has already been three years since I built a house of ceramic blocks (510 mm), in general I am satisfied with the blocks, the wall looks like this: from the inside there is facade plaster with inclusions of polystyrene foam (10-20 mm), then the ceramic block itself (510 mm), then the ventilation 40 mm gap and the final stage - facing brick (85mm).
The main thing in the construction of ceramic blocks is their correct masonry, because the solution does not fit into the vertical seams between the blocks, respectively, with uneven masonry, most of the advantages of these blocks are nullified. My workers did it mediocre, so I had to additionally make warm facade plaster from the inside.
I have gas heating, a boiler of 28 kW, at minus thirty on the street, in the house on the ground floor + 18C, in the attic + 20C, by the way, I also have to heat the bathhouse, so there are some heat losses. In general, the house is comfortable, if I had to once again choose the material for the walls, I would again choose ceramic blocks.
