I do not like long repairs, so I preferred the stretch ceiling. It is mounted throughout the day and looks perfect. But the problem arose - we have rooms that are quite large and most companies did not guarantee no sagging. In addition, it was very difficult to choose a color and texture, or rather not for me, but for my wife.

In the end, we settled on material from the Pongs company from Germany. The wife found her perfect color of the “morning fog” and an almost imperceptible matte texture. Mounted quickly. After six months I don’t notice no wrinkles or sagging, however, one minus is that the material is a little more expensive than everyone else.

They decided to install a stretch ceiling in exchange for obsolete foam panels. We stopped at the company Pongs, because it was recommended by my friend - the designer. Mounted quickly and without any problems (called specialists, of course). Then the first and main minus of this type of ceiling surfaced - not a pleasant smell. I had to send my wife and child to my grandmother for a couple of weeks, because feared for their health, and he lived with the windows open. Then the smell seemed to disappear, but sometimes it still seems like it smells slightly (a month has passed since the installation). We hope that it will finally disappear in the near future. But the ceiling survived the flood safely: the tap dripped from the neighbors from above and the film held up water, preserving the appearance of the wallpaper.

They made the installation of stretch ceilings Pongs, they are made in Germany (the consultant told me so colorfully), but it seems to me that, in fact, they are bought in our beloved China. So they paid a decent amount for them, but in the end they got something incomprehensible. They really already exude an unpleasant odor on the 10th day, it is impossible to be in the apartment, we constantly ventilate it. The smell is clearly chemical, read on the Internet that it is phenol. So allergies do not earn long. You understand that a complete disappointment remained from this company, we did not expect such a catch.

So if you are ready to plug your nose within a week, then contact this company, but for my family this is nonsense.

I have an office in the basement of an apartment building. The upper alcoholic neighbors are constantly flooding. Pongs Mattol stretch ceilings recommended by a colleague help save on repairs. They survived not one flood, but look super. In the barely noticeable leaks, because of which you have to regularly wash the wall panels, I think the installers are to blame. I'm glad, although at first I doubted the choice.

A little embarrassed by the high cost: it was not clear what qualities the ceilings would show. But the installation went quickly (the workers managed for three hours), the surfaces looked very decent, so it calmed down. However, not for long: a month and a half, I and the employees were tormented by a faint, murderously sweet chemical smell, the drawings in the daylight turned out to be somewhat faded, spoiled by small defects (“stars”, cracks). But the era of the "spotty" ugly ceiling has ended.
