Heater Penofol
In recent years, heaters have been developed for a wide variety of needs: panels made of extruded polystyrene foam, rigid basalt slabs or thick mineral wool mats. Each of them performs the required functions, but sometimes they cannot be used - due to humidity, installation difficulties or for other reasons. Penofol insulation material, which combines both absorbent and reflective insulation, can be the solution to the problem in such situations.
It is a foamed polyethylene, which was shaped into a thin layer and coated on one or two sides with a layer of aluminum foil. For ease of use, it is made in three types:
Penofol-A - covered with foil film on one side, so as not to give heat output;
Penofol-B - covered with foil on both sides to reflect heat waves in two directions, that is, going both from the inside, the room, and the outside;
Penofol-C - on the one hand, a foil film is applied, on the other, in turn, a self-adhesive surface, which increases the ease of installation at times. It is used to warm hard-to-reach places or just for speed.
Such a heater requires a minimum of space: up to 10 mm thick. According to reviews, Penofol will cope well with hydro and vapor barrier. The material is really universal: if you use it correctly and work with joints efficiently, you can achieve good heat and sound insulation.
