If you take a walk-behind tractor and hope that there will be no problems - Patriot Chicago is not for you. To say that he is not an option at all is also impossible, because he plows. In general, I would like to warn about possible malfunctions.

pros

Easy to start. Turns the earth into fluff. With wheels without a steering wheel it fits into a hatchback.

1. The nut of the air filter cover does not rest on the thread;

2. The engine stalls sporadically during processing. As it turned out later, this is due to the oil level sensor, which works at small inclines despite the use of oil recommended by the manufacturer and its normal level.

3. The adjustable deepener bends despite the soft annually cultivated land. Metal leaves much to be desired.

4. The bolt that locks the burrower has moved away along the welded nut. Welding: two points on the nut. I think the problems of welding in other places will remind of myself.

5. Smudges oil from the gearbox. There is no gasket under the cover, but there are rubber rings, which, as practice shows, are not reliable.

6. The shutter control knob falls off the control mechanism.

I have a Ural Patriot motoblock, I’m super at work, I use it with mills that were in the kit, plus I also took a potato digger separately. I did not immediately figure out the potato digger, but when I understood how to do it, I was satisfied. I have been operating it for two seasons, no problem. I recommend with a clear conscience. Powerful, manoeuvrable walk-behind tractor. Before that, there was a Russian motor-block, as many probably have, this one is certainly better, no doubt.

I met this motor-block for clothes, it doesn’t look like everyone else - the engine, piled up on a bunch of parts and wheels, the designers tried to make a beautiful car. Then I studied the characteristics - I wrote down the gears and four-stroke engine in the pros.

After the purchase, I actually tested it - it does not fail, it works reliably and is quite convenient in operation. In terms of fuel and oil consumption, it is up to par and it works well even on gasoline of not the best quality from our provincial gas station.

True, I recently had to replace the clutch disc, but then my fault was casually switched and did not inspect. The repairs were carried out on their own (I did not want to spend time on calling the guarantors). At the same time, I found one more advantage, it is very easy to disassemble and does not require additional adjustments during assembly. My final conclusion is that although it is more expensive than Chinese consumer goods, it will last longer.

It copes with all the work in a non-household farm - it plows, cultivates, mows and transports goods.

Pretty reliable. I only had to adjust the ignition, carburetor and change the candles. It can be seen that it was made for people - excellent steering column adjustments and vibration damping on it.Separately, it is worth mentioning that it is visible - the car was created with the expectation of long-term operation, the tires (though the tread was already pretty much raised) are still the same as they were when buying. The same can be said about other parts and components. Even the paint was not peeling anywhere and almost did not fade, the traces of corrosion are even less noticeable. I can say that this car is worth taking, it justifies itself.

I will share my impression of my Patriot motoblock. This hard worker has been with me for several months. I chose this model by chance, I needed not only a “head”, but also all the equipment for it. In our city in this configuration were only "Patriots". Of course, this is not the cheapest choice, but in finances I was not shy.

The engine is also not bad, easily starts even in severe frost and pulls perfectly. As it loaded almost twice as much as allowed and pulled the trailer quite far, he did not feel it, he worked as usual. The gearbox and clutch are also quite good, they work easily and do not wedge.

I also want to note the build quality, it is clear that everything is done wisely. In conclusion, I will say - if you need a reliable and practical walk-behind tractor, then this brand is one of the best.
