Nordside, a siding that does not disappoint

At the beginning of July last year, he acquired the Northside brand siding, sheathed his house quickly enough. He did all the work on his own, though his brother helped me. In winter, the siding calmly withstands frosts down to -35 degrees. And the whole family noticed that our panel house became much warmer in the current period of time, although he did not additionally insulate it, do not put the insulation under the siding.

Siding took sandalwood in color, did not expect it to look so good. Now I think to buy additionally all additional elements of a dark color, it will be much more interesting and original to look.

By the way, the siding suffers heat without incident, for 2 hot summers it did not burn out, did not swim, as well as another trouble did not happen to it. Good siding, really pleasing, the house has become much more beautiful, fresher, and most importantly warmer.

We bought an old house in the village for a summer vacation. Appearance left much to be desired. Could not figure out how to give an aesthetics to the facade. The owner, a friendly and talkative person, invited me into the courtyard, and he told us everything about this material.

I always thought that it was expensive, and with the slightest mechanical impact it could break or burst. It turned out that Northside siding is Russian material. Its cost is not so great. We could afford such a luxury. In Krasnodar I bought vinyl siding for 127 rubles, bought a J-profile in the same place and in the same summer sheathed the entire facade. For strength, I would not recommend trying it. When mounted, then under the weight of the stairs he somehow creaked badly.

Nordside siding in price and quality

I decided to save on casing, so I decided on the Nordside vinyl siding. The main deciding factor when choosing was the cost. So, the Nordside color scheme is frankly not so hot, I took a gray one, since no one will often wash it in the country.

Now we’ll go through the installation, they brought it to me from the store somewhere slightly rumpled, I had to level it, a trifle but unpleasant. But if the packaging were tougher, this would not have happened.

During installation, there were problems where the panels were poorly docked, but after installation, the appearance turned out to be very decent.
After a year, my impressions are as follows: the color did not fade, this is a plus, but when the table was taken out of the house, the panel accidentally hit and got a hole and a crack is a minus.
In general, what is the price and quality, when buying Nordside Siding, be prepared for the fact that there will not be an ideal result.

Inexpensive siding Nordside Lapland leaves mixed feelings

When the time came to sheathe the walls, there was a financial crisis. So the store only had Nordside Lapland, the panel of which cost 120 p. The choice of material is wide, its length is 3.85 m (right under the walls of our house!), The surface is rough and hard.

They didn’t take care of the packaging, they drove in store polyethylene, crushed the window profiles, barely straightened it. They were mounted cheaply, because they were screwed with ordinary galvanized screws. They began to sheathe on warm days, the material was dense, they cut it with a grinder. Then it got colder to - 20, the edges began to break, crumble, I had to take on the scissors for metal.

It is also unpleasant that he is rough. But it turned out pretty. Siding survived the summer without burnout. He survived in winter - 35. In the house, even though we saved on insulation, it’s comfortable.
