Flexible tile of Rufleks Ornam
A comment
Flexible roof tiles, very convenient if you have complex slopes. I have just these, with dormer-windows, broken. Than to cut a metal tile, I preferred flexible, as you want, and you stack it. Of course, there are also difficulties, everyone decides for himself. I chose the soft roof of Ruflex Ornam, cut in semicircles, the color is red clay. In Rufstroy, they gave me a preliminary calculation, based on materials and money, then I went to see in their office what Ruflex looks like in real life. Prices arranged, looking even better than in the photo. And stable, neither afraid of heat nor cold. Immediately in Rufstroy and bought, agreed on delivery in a few days. However, for some reason they didn’t bring everything at once, several packages were not enough, apparently miscalculated during shipment. It happens. I did not make noise, especially since they apologized to me a day later for free. A roof with flexible tiles looks great, and what's good, it eliminates all the noise, even in a shower under the roof almost nothing is heard.
pros

Beautiful, high quality and at an affordable price.
A comment
Three years ago, I made a gazebo. After much deliberation on how to cover the roof, I leaned towards the flexible tiles. The price for it is acceptable, the guarantee is not bad, and it looks beautiful.

Of course, it was worth tinkering with it during installation, but the result is excellent. All the details evenly and aesthetically fell into place, which is simply not a word. A few winters have already passed, and I decided to check the condition of my tile this year. Only a few pieces had to be replaced, the rest of the coating was as good as new - not a single crack.A neighbor said that she allegedly emitted some kind of smell over time. I don’t know how anyone has it, but it smells nothing to me.

In general, I am pleased with my choice. I’m thinking about replacing the cover on the bathhouse.
pros
esthetics, relative cheapness, durability, unpretentiousness in repair and operation
Minuses
installation labor

Flexible tiles easily solve the problems of non-standard roofs
A comment
Two years ago, we acquired a summer cottage on the shores of a small lake. Above the lake, near the water, stood a bizarre structure, reminiscent of an old tower. This tower turned out to be quite strong, and I decided to restore it so that in the summer I could relax with my family.

The wall cladding and interior work was dealt with quite quickly by his brother. But when the question concerned roofing, problems arose. The non-standard shape of the roof with turrets, bells and whistles required a special approach. After consulting with specialists, I decided to use flexible tiles. This material turned out to be very useful, without it, the whole beauty of the upper part of our tower would have to be completely demolished. Roofing was not very difficult. With the help of experienced consultants, we managed to do everything ourselves, however, it took a lot of time.

But the roof turned out to be fabulously beautiful and adequately protects us from the rains and the scorching sun, while in two years its appearance has not changed at all.

Laminated flexible tiles: the best of bitumen
A comment
My roofing team works in budget cottage villages. Here, laminated flexible tiles are always in honor. Why, I realized when I began to look for coverage for the parent's dacha. Reasons: low price, the availability of detailed instructions. My father made half of the roof on it while I arrived. Nothing, quite successfully. I myself love to work with this material: a minimum of a tool, just nothing time-effort.

The surface looks solid and attractive. But you watch how a particular modification behaves in the heat of frost. Sometimes you wait for the temperature to normalize. Moody versions then (after dozens of years) go cracking due to temperature instability. But this is nonsense. There are no noticeable shortcomings: it smells neutral, “absorbs” noise, is maintainable (destroyed pieces are replaced).
pros
low cost, ease of installation, lack of smell, beauty, maintainability
Minuses
some species do not fit well in the heat of frost, after 10-15 years they become covered with cracks
Term of use
more than five years
