Metal tile with a profile Spanish Dune

The Spanish Dune metal tile is a metal tile with a special profile shape that is clearly distinguishable even from afar and resembles a large tile. This type of product is manufactured exclusively on imported equipment. The main advantage of metal compared to ceramic tiles is light weight, and the absence of wide seams between the layers. Reviews on the Spanish Dune metal tile, which is surprisingly easy to install, you can find below.

Metal tile Spanish Dune

The Spanish Dune is a quality but expensive coating.

Hello, friends. About three years ago, I had to change the coating on the roof of my mother’s house. Instead of obsolete slate, which already began to leak moisture in places, which caused wet spots to appear on the ceiling of the house, I laid the Spanish Dune metal tile.

Its main advantage is the absence of through holes, due to the presence of hidden fasteners. Only a falsetto roof has a similar advantage. I want to note that the cost of the "Spanish Dune" is much higher than the usual metal tiles. Most likely because of this, it is less common.

The tightness of metal is high. The screws for fastening, which are included in the kit with tiles, are of good quality and should last a long time.
pros
the presence of hidden fixtures.
Minuses
high price.

I bought a Spanish Dune metal tile for my cottage, I liked that the production was done in Russia. Outwardly, it is fully consistent with natural tiles, there are no through holes. her bond is hidden, you can simply mount it by snapping to another sheet. Made of galvanized steel, a wide range of colors, it will be easy to choose the right color.

But here, what really left a negative mark for me, after installation, is that its installation is very inconvenient. In joints, it wears out very quickly, metal is already visible on my roof. There constantly gets sand, dust and all that.

It’s a pity to give money for it, it’s better to overpay and buy a more worth metal tile. It’s not worth it, the appearance in a few years will be completely different. I will not advise, for me disappointment, it is a pity that I bought it at one time.
pros
The choice of colors is large.
Minuses
Not a convenient mount, poor quality

Metal tile "Spanish Dune" first experience
A comment
Until recently, my roofing team worked only with imported metal tiles. And then a customer came across who wished that the Spanish Dune would be covered with metal, someone there advised him. And to everything, he saw on the Internet that she had a huge range of colors and chose a not-so-traditional bright yellow (RAL 101, in short, the master is a master.

Now about the impression, it is packaged in high quality, which is important during transportation. Installation took place without problems, when laying the next sheet, the groove of the previous sheet is captured, and the attachment points are closed. So she is not afraid of snow and rain. The advantage of this technology is that further care is not needed. She looks. I’ll tell you very elegantly and expensively, from a distance it looks like a natural tile.
pros
wide color gamut, easy installation, looks great
Minuses
until I discovered
