I bought a Dutchman of Chinese descent, and treat him accordingly. When I started the repair 4 years ago, I approached this issue: I bought it to make it cheaper. I thought I’ll throw it out if I die, a one-year warranty only. Well, metal, of course, I don’t advise more than C grade - overheating is immediately felt, and then with interruptions, so they all get warm. The case is in plastic, not in metal (in order to save my budget).

And he drilled holes in the walls to the eyeballs of himself and his neighbors. The old tile was beaten in the kitchen and in the bathroom, also with pleasure. Only a brand new skill is handsome smart, and after my zeal, he has seen life. All the plastic on the case is wounded by falling tiles, and the dirt was eaten there. It would be better if they released completely black, so as not to launder. In general, a hobby is suitable for the category, by the way it’s still alive, and it would be a pity it would be a pity.

Skil 1765 MA rotary hammer - a great home helper!
A comment
I bought a Skil 1765 MA rock drill for home. This hammer drill is quite convenient to use in work. Despite its small size, it hollows concrete, only have time to close your eyes from getting concrete crumbs in them. Prior to this, I tried to drill a small hole in a concrete wall (concrete of the m500 brand), makita “choked” and was terribly heated, but I still did not drill a hole for it. Then I tried to drill a hole in the same wall with a Skil 1765 MA rock drill. To my joy, the puncher coped with the task without any problems.

I really liked the built-in function on the puncher, when the harder you press, the more force the puncher hits an obstacle. Now, without problems, it is possible to shoot down certain areas with great accuracy, and not completely the entire surface. I liked very much, a dense rubberized power cord, with a rather optimal length, it is 4 meters, which is very convenient when working with a hammer drill in the woods!
pros
+ optimal price, bought for 3200 rubles.
Minuses
- there are no drills in the kit.
Term of use
more than one year

Review of the 1790 MA Skill: a home-only tool
A comment
I heard a lot of good things from my friends about Skill drilling machines of the 10th series, so when I decided to get my own, I considered only the products of this company. After much interrogation of the consultant, I chose the Skill hammer 1790 MA, which looked quite ergonomic and was affordable. Soon I realized: such compactness, although it facilitates the work, results in low productivity.

The unit works slowly, overheats, with long-term drilling generally fails. Immediately regretted that he took without a margin of power. A year later, the gearbox bearing flew, because of this, the oil leaked. He made time, carried the tool to the service, they reminded me that the warranty was over, but they took it for repairs (of course, for the money). Now, it seems, nothing works, but I will not recommend it to professionals.
pros
normal price, small size.
Minuses
small warranty, low "performance", lack of parts, expensive repairs, restrictions on use (good only at home).
Term of use
more than three years
