My husband and I were in the mood to make repairs. Without special need, just tired of the color of the laminate. We decided to change it in the whole apartment to something brighter (Wenge was). The husband himself already laid the laminate, knows what and how. It would be better left as it is! They chose (on their own) Westerhof Pine parquet from the Maestro Classik collection. Only one thing was good - they took a test in one room (13 sq. M.) And did not take much money (395 rubles per sq. M plus stock), they gave about 6,000 rubles in total.

Boards are different in color, not even, of different thicknesses, crumble during installation. Castles are bad, falling apart. The husband so far laid down, all the obscene words that he knows remembered. After work, there was a mountain of garbage! They began to clean. They also rubbed it with a damp cloth and saw a bunch of scratches. In other rooms of the apartment we will definitely lay another coating. And in this, probably, it will be necessary to quit, because the appearance of the room is no longer satisfied.

The strength class is large enough 32, the thickness of the boards is 8 mm. Locks are collapsible. It is simple to clean; nothing special is required; it is usually on a microfiber mop. From the closet, the sofa is not overdone, resistant to gravity. But here it is scratched - yes, they moved the bedside table and the laminate was significantly scratched.

The floor is convenient to collect pleasure, very fast, like puzzles. I collected them for the first time and obviously I am not a professional, and that I did perfectly well, I think so. The joints are visible but very little. In general, the laminate is budgetary and quite good, I think it’s solid 4. I will advise, but in my opinion the option is not ideal, although based on the cost it’s not bad, but there are still scratches.

At the very beginning of the repair, they decided that a laminate would lie on the floor. Repair began in August 2011, bought a laminate from the Westerhof Style Novelty brand, its choice in the store was gorgeous, which I will note as a plus.

Immediately when laying, seams became noticeable, the locks are poorly joined and suitable for each other. With the installation just tormented. Well, this is not the worst thing, later during the operation it started even worse. From a small touch, scratches remain instantly, no effort is needed to do this. On a dark color, dust is immediately visible, any material errors immediately give themselves away. Everything on it catches the eye. You have to clean every day, the vacuum cleaner is not an option here, namely wet cleaning, with cleaning products, stains remain from a simple rag. So, I want to warn you, do not choose this option, it is terrible.
