They have a relay to turn off themselves, but it does not always work, especially if the unit has been used for quite some time. For this reason, there are many fires, so when you include it in the network, try to always keep it in front of you. It is especially risky to leave it overnight.

Also, the fan heater is suitable only for short-term heating, since it will not heat the room itself, but only the air near you, so when it turns off, the room will quickly become cold. I use such a heater at work, directing it to my feet.

It happened to me and my youngest son to get to the hospital last winter. There was a terrible cold in the room, a small heating battery, insulated window frames and high ceilings, outside the window minus 35! We somehow survived the night, and in the morning the husband brought us a small fan heater to save us. Literally in 20-30 minutes, this miracle machine warmed up our room to a more or less acceptable temperature. Unlike conventional heaters, it blows warm air much faster. But it dries it scary. We found such a way out - we put a bowl of water in front of the fan heater and got rid of dry air.

The only drawback is the noise that it makes during operation. But when there is no other alternative, then the noise does not interfere. Moreover, the noise does not last very long, no more than half an hour, even when heating a large room.
