High-quality (at least cheap, at least expensive device) is not a problem to purchase in a large construction supermarket or a specialized company. If you are very cold - you can buy a model for a larger number of sections, but in standard Soviet apartments there will be such a heater, believe me, "a lot" and it consumes a lot more electricity.

Power consumption directly depends on the number of sections. As a rule, small "oilers" pull a maximum of 1-1.5 kW / h, they are enough to heat small rooms up to 12 m2. Devices with a consumption of 2-2.2 kW / h for 8-10 sections can already be installed in rooms up to 20 squares. With the arrival of cold autumn rains, it became damp and cool in our country house. Unfortunately, the cottage was not heated ... But we solved this problem - we bought an oil heater Mirta OR407. Thanks to the modern design, it fits perfectly into the interior of our room. The room is small, so 7 sections of the heater were enough for heating. But for it to warm up to operating temperature, it takes about 10 minutes. Then the set temperature is constantly maintained. You can adjust it, because there are three modes of operation.

The manufacturers also took care of the safety of the device, there is protection against overheating - the heater automatically turns off, while the indicator light goes out and a click sounds. We fearlessly left it on all night.And when they turned off the power outlet in the morning, its metal surface remained warm for a long time.

We also liked that the heater is light and convenient for transportation. Wheels and a handle greatly facilitate its transportation. To prevent the power cord from hanging out, there is a special compartment for it.
We have been using the heater in the country for the fourth year in a row, I never let it down. We hope that he will also serve several more years just as well.

Oil heater Scarlett SC-1160 - the best option

Despite the global warming, as a resident of the south of Ukraine, I don’t notice him much on winter days. Although the apartment is heated, it can be very cold. Therefore, my husband and I decided to purchase the Scarlett SC-1160 oil heater, which we liked in design: a nice, pleasant appearance that moves on wheels, which is incredibly convenient.

The model is budgetary, paid for only 400 hryvnias + delivery, simple, when you set the temperature, it turns off automatically. Since we turned on the heater only on cold evenings (and left it overnight), we did not notice any special expenses for money on electricity.

In general, the model is normal, but I doubt that it is suitable for a room without heating. We need a more powerful heater that does not dry the air. Every day we opened the window to make it fresh.

I believe that these heaters are the most practical of all, since they retain stored heat for a long time due to which the air remains warm longer in the room. Oil fireplaces are absolutely silent and unassuming. They do not need a lot of space. Their only minus is that they are heavy. But almost all of them are equipped with wheels for better movement.

To heat small rooms, to dry things - the MOT! The main thing is to put a bowl of water on the electric fireplace or buy an air humidifier, because they incredibly dry the air in the room.

When used, heat is constantly maintained, and the walls of the room warm up a bit. In many modern oil fireplaces, the cut-off relay is activated, so we left them turned on around the clock, without fear of short circuits or fires.

They bought an oil heater for a long time, for about 7 years already. But she appreciated it only when she gave birth to a baby. Winter was cold and in a large private house it was not very warm either.

The optimum temperature for the child was achieved including our old heater. By weight it is not very heavy, flat and therefore does not take up much space. The cord is long enough. On my heater there is a system of protection against overheating, I was not afraid to leave it at night. Itself turned off and also turned on again if the temperature dropped.

You can’t cover it, I tried to dry the diaper - immediately turned off. There is a work indicator lamp and a backlight near the power knob. There is a warm wind function, but I do not use it. Of course it dries the air in the room, so I put a tray of water near it.

If it works for a long time, a slight smell of dust appears, but when you switch to a lower power, it disappears. The only drawback is that the legs are shifted, since they are removable, they need to be set up by itself.
