Oil heaters
Portable oil heaters are one of the best ways to heat a room from 15 to 30 m2. There are many brands of these products on the market: both eminent brands and their lesser known competitors. Despite the competition, everyone finds their buyer. The price of such equipment can differ strikingly: if an unnamed high-quality heater can be purchased for $ 50, then the price of its branded analogue can be 2-3 times higher.
High-quality (at least cheap, at least expensive device) is not a problem to purchase in a large construction supermarket or a specialized company. Cheap copies are unreliable, but the percentage of marriage is very small. If the device is under warranty, it will always be replaced or repaired: the equipment is simple, it has been studied by the repairmen, the spare parts for all models are almost the same.
Expensive heaters can be equipped with additional functions, for example, the option of humidification or forced ventilation. They are distinguished by a long service life, greater energy efficiency: they consume less electricity, give more heat.
Oil heaters for the home, the reviews of which are located on this page are mainly divided into two types: 4-6 section and 8-10 section. These are the most popular models. If you are very cold - you can buy a model for a larger number of sections, but in standard Soviet apartments there will be such a heater, believe me, "a lot" and it consumes a lot more electricity.
Power consumption directly depends on the number of sections. As a rule, small "oilers" pull a maximum of 1-1.5 kW / h, they are enough to heat small rooms up to 12 m2. Devices with a consumption of 2-2.2 kW / h for 8-10 sections can already be installed in rooms up to 20 squares. All models are united by the fact that they are designed for 3 modes of operation: heat - even warmer - very warm. Between them, you can set other modes using additional manual adjustment.
