Funds were limited, so they chose a humidifier among several models. In appearance, most of all I liked the humidifier from the manufacturer Scarlett, model SC-989, and they decided to buy it.
The humidifier has excellent characteristics, the tank holds 5 liters of water. In addition, the device not only moisturizes the air, but also has an ionization function, although we don’t use it, it was turned on several times, and for some reason it began to stuff up the nose of all the pets.

The humidifier worked normally only the first year, and then various malfunctions began to appear. At first, he simply began to moisten the air in a smaller amount, and then he began to evaporate some kind of chemical vapor. After that, they immediately decided to stop using it, health is more expensive, especially since such a moisturizer will be of little use. In general, we do not recommend taking it.

Unfortunately, I can’t say anything good about the Scarlett SC-988 humidifier. I have been operating this device for longer than 6 months, it has been working properly only for the first month, and then I began to become disillusioned with lightning speed.

After a month of work, he turned from a silent humidifier, into a very loud one, it was impossible to sleep normally with him. He just got in the way, drummed all night, so don't fall asleep! Of course, the cost of the device is cheap, but everything is absolutely offensive when you buy a product because you think that everything will be different.

As for the operating modes, it is also not clear here. You put one level and each time a stream of steam with different strengths, I still do not understand how it regulates it. There is a filter in the humidifier, but there is no sense in it, all the insides are covered with limescale, although I always pour filtered water into it. Humidifies air weakly.

- the cost is affordable, about 3000 rubles;
- good functionality;
- three operating modes, you can adjust the steam intensity;
- there is an ionization function, it works by default, you can not disable it;
- there is a special compartment for aroma oils;
- there is a timer;
- On the whole, the humidifier quickly raises the humidity level to a normal state, it has become much easier to breathe in the apartment, now my throat does not dry out in the mornings, as before, dry cough does not bother and the diseases pass faster.

Minuses

- pouring water is not very convenient, sometimes water spills;
- it is necessary to fill in the filtered water, since internal parts from ordinary water are covered with plaque;

This is an ultrasonic humidifier, its tank is small, measuring just 3.5 liters of water, but this amount is enough for 10 hours of continuous operation. In general, I pour water into it once a day. In addition, you can adjust the humidification power, it is very convenient.

The controls are simple, just a few buttons. It’s also easy to take care of the humidifier, by the way, I wash it every 3 weeks. She doesn’t leave a white coating on the furniture (she was most afraid of it), I pour water from the tap there.
