Septic Mole

Septic tank “Mole” is an inexpensive equipment for wastewater treatment. The manufacturer is a leader in the economy class segment, and the design has the following properties: wastewater treatment by 60%, weld strength, energy independence, ease of installation, rare maintenance. If you are interested in the “Mole” septic tank, reviews about it will help to better understand the specifics of equipment operation.

Despite installation errors, I use the septic tank Krot 1.8 without problems for the second year
A comment
About two years ago, the Mole 1.8 septic tank was installed. Since there was no experience in carrying out such work, and finances did not allow hiring a professional team, I made a lot of mistakes during installation and installation. To begin with, I installed drainage pipes on geotextiles, which is strictly not recommended. But the runoff after the septic tank goes practically without fine suspensions, so that for two years of intensive operation the soil did not “clog” the geotextile layer. On the filtration field, gravel was first poured then sand, as it turned out, it was necessary to do exactly the opposite. The exit from the septic tank was only forced with the help of a pump, the gravity was shut off, but the system coped well with the drains and the level in the tanks did not rise. In general, with all the mistakes made during installation, I have no problems with sewage.
pros

Minuses
expensive,
difficult to install

Septic Krot 3.6 excellent, budget autonomous system
A comment
Septic Krot 3.6 is installed in my country house. We have been using a family of 4 for 4 months now. There are no complaints about the delay in draining. But this is rather the advantage of proper installation. The main thing in the territory near the house is no smells.

However, in anticipation of the winter had to make some design changes. The design of the septic tank provides for a drainage pump that pumps out the drainage slurry in the filtration field. I have it located at a level slightly higher than the exit from the septic tank. I have a model Marina, in which the manufacturer provides for a check valve. Because of it, the drainage slurry remaining in the pipe drains back for 10-15 minutes. To prevent it from freezing and blocking the pipe in winter, I was advised to dismantle the check valve. Let's see if this is right in winter.
pros
reliable system
Minuses
high price
Term of use
half a year

Septic Mole 3.6 cubic meters with a filtration well
A comment
Just the other day, I completed the installation of a septic tank KROT with a volume of 3.6 cubic meters. As always, when the calculations and most of the work is done on its own, there were some shoals. The depth of the deepening of the outlet sewer pipe from the house was calculated inaccurately, and the septic tank itself had to be deepened flush with the surface of the soil. And I wanted to pour a layer of soil over the top cover for thermal insulation and the possibility of elevating the territory.

Despite the fact that it is recommended to install HDPE septic tanks in concrete wells, when I installed mine, I made sandblasting mixed with cement. I rammed the mixture while filling the septic tank with water so as not to deform or damage. In addition, during installation, a pipe was placed vertically for measuring the level of groundwater, so that in case of a high level it would not be pumped out.
pros
1. simplicity and reliability of the design,
2. you can install yourself
Minuses

Term of use
less than a month
