For me, the question is not worth it - a spring or springless mattress. I have determined this for myself a long time ago and want to share my observations. In my opinion, spring mattresses go down in history and personally I do not see any advantages of such mattresses.

Firstly, using a double sleeping orthopedic springless mattress is much more convenient. When together you are lying on such a bed, then there is no middle of the “hole” in which both of them slide down. The springs bend under the weight of two people and this brings inconvenience. In addition, in springless mattresses there are no zones with a harder surface along the edge of the mattress. Our old spring mattress had such a rigid frame and it was rather inconvenient to lie on the edge.

Depending on the amount of conscience of the manufacturer, the springs are made of different materials. Ordinary metal ones, which rust over time, can be supplied. You will only be able to find out what springs are made of, just breaking a mattress, which of course you don’t want to do. And I think it's not pleasant for everyone to sleep on rusty iron for years.

There are also other disadvantages of spring mattresses. They create static electricity that negatively affects the human body. Also, due to the fact that there is emptiness inside, dust collects there.
